Gorgy Konstantinovich Zhukov

Zhukov was a Soviet Union general in World War II. He was the one who would capture the 6th army and stop the Germans from reaching Moscow, even lift the siege on Leningrad and eventfully capture Berlin.

During World War II Zhukov stopped the Germans from reaching Moscow which was the battle of Moscow.

Zhukov was the one who encircled the 6th army in Stalingrad. This battle was the turning point of World War II. After it was over about 150,000 German soldiers were killed or captured. He stopped a German breakthrough.

In the battle of Kursk or operation citadel, Zhukov stopped the German offensive to regain lost territory. (This would be the place with biggest tank battle of World War II)

Zhukov would lift the siege on Leningrad in January 1944.

Zhukov commanded the assault into Berlin. Which would be the last battle in Europe during the Second World War.
